Fiber Discrimination via Resampling and Hypothesis Testing

This study focuses on the forensic analysis of fiber evidence using microspectrophotometry data. It introduces a novel approach for fiber discrimination by employing resampling techniques and repeated two-sample hypothesis testing. The method enhances the reliability and accuracy of distinguishing between fibers, providing robust statistical support for forensic investigations.
