Forensic Differentiation of Blue Pen Inks Using TOF-SIMS and Multivariate Analysis

This study explores the forensic differentiation of blue pen inks using Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (TOF-SIMS) combined with multivariate statistical methods. By analyzing the chemical composition of ink samples, the research provides a robust approach for distinguishing between visually similar inks. The application of advanced statistical techniques enhances the accuracy of classification, making it a valuable tool for forensic document examination and authentication.
