Massively Parallel Sequencing of 292 SNPs in Han Chinese

This study explores the application of massively parallel sequencing (MPS) to a forensic panel combining 107 short tandem repeat (STR) loci and 292 single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) loci in the Han Chinese population. The findings enhance forensic identification, ancestry inference, and kinship analysis, demonstrating the panel’s efficiency and accuracy in forensic genetics.
