This study explores the use of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) equipped with a LiDAR sensor to detect bodies on the surface beneath vegetation cover. The preliminary test evaluates the system's capability in penetrating foliage and identifying anomalies on the ground, highlighting its potential applications in search and rescue, forensic investigations, and environmental monitoring.
