Carbon Dots from E-Waste Toner for Sensing and Forensics

This study presents a sustainable approach to e-waste management by converting discarded toner powder into fluorescent carbon dots. These eco-friendly nanomaterials exhibit high sensitivity for Hg²⁺ detection and hold great promise for applications in anti-counterfeiting and forensic analysis.
