14th Edition of Forensic Scientist Awards 26-27 September 2025 | Mumbai, India

In today’s multi-cloud environments, digital forensics faces growing challenges. Privacy, data integrity, and interoperability issues among various cloud providers make traditional forensic investigations increasingly complex. To tackle these challenges, our research introduces an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enhanced Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) framework designed to improve security, privacy, scalability, and efficiency in cloud-based forensic operations.

We propose a suite of integrated frameworks:

  • Adaptive Multi-Cloud Forensic Integration Framework (A-MCFIF) – ensures smooth collaboration across cloud platforms.

  • Multi-Factor Access Control Framework (MACF) – strengthens user authentication.

  • Adaptive ZKP Optimization Framework (AZOF) – accelerates proof generation and verification.

  • Privacy Enhanced Data Security Framework (PDSF) – guarantees compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR and HIPAA.

By combining AI, ZKPs, and multi-factor authentication, our approach secures sensitive data while improving real-time processing, reducing verification latency, and handling insider threats and data breaches. Extensive evaluations show enhanced efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

This work paves the way for secure, privacy-compliant, and efficient cloud forensic investigations, enabling more robust and reliable evidence collection in increasingly complex digital landscapes.
